Mizznekol is a female MC who doesn’t front. “Everything Gone Be Okay” is a wonderfully crafted duet between Mizznekol and her pal Vells. It’s a blend of her rap skills and his R&B; together it’s a flawless track and fuses two great genres into one. While that was a fusion, “Haters Can’t Tell Me Nothing” is straightforward hip hop and comes hard. Then Mizznekol tells you what she’s all about and that when it boils down to it, it “Ain’t For the Money.” It’s nice to hear a real woman behind the mic in rap who has a realistic outlook on life. You can hear that loud and clear in “The Hard Way.” While a lot of Mizznekol’s songs have an adult take on life, “School Girl Swagg” offers up a little something different. Growing up in the 90’s, I was well aware of female MCs like Queen Latifah and Da Brat, and Mizznekol could very well be on her way to being on the same level as those women. She carries herself well and her talent is unquestionable. If you’re looking for a female MC who keeps it real, check out Mizznekol. (https://www.facebook.com/Mizznekol)
