Kapo Khedda is a rising star who’s going places. “Swang” takes me back a bit to early ’90s rap. It’s has a raw appeal to it but a modern twist with the beat. In “Standing Strong” we hear more of a sitting on the stoop, recollecting on life track. This is the kind of hip hop you rarely hear anymore and it’s as refreshing as the guitar licks coming through.
