Kapo Khedda is a rising star who’s going places. “Swang” takes me back a bit to early ’90s rap. It’s has a raw appeal to it but a modern twist with the beat. In “Standing Strong” we hear more of a sitting on the stoop, recollecting on life track. This is the kind of hip hop you rarely hear anymore and it’s as refreshing as the guitar licks coming through. Last up, “Flashy Fare” isn’t that flashy at all. It’s more laid back and has a realistic feel to it.
